We have put two comfortable and spacious Karsten tents in our campsite for rent, located in two unique spots: the first one is up on the ridge, has afternoon and evening sun and views the campsite as if from an eagle's nest, offering a glimpse of Civitella del Lago in the distance. The second one is located in the lower part of the campsite between the trees, has lots of shade, some evening sun and is not far away from the sanitary building.
To begin with: your rent-a-tent has a verdy sturdy construction owing to its inflatable structure. The Karsten Comfort tent is suitable for max 2 adults and 2 children, and has internal dimensions of 3.50 x 3.50 metres. The price is € 30,00 per day for the tent and the pitch, exclusive of course for the costs of the individual guests and a P for your car just as with any other pitch, and is inclusive of any other costs such as electricity, hot & cold water, swimming-pool et cetera, but exclusive of sheets at € 3,00 per bed/person.
Even if you stay with several people in the tent, the air does not get stuffy due to the ventilation system: the canvas is a 100% Ten Cate cotton canvas and reinforces the breathability of the tent. There is also an adjustable and closable ventilation system in the top of the tent, adjustable from the inside.
The tent is equipped with a strong bisonyl tub shaped sewn in groundsheet with a standing edge of 25cm. This allows for loads of comfort and keeps out drafts, moisture, and insects.
In a Karsten rent-a-tent you can sleep comfortably. For the adults there are 2 proper single beds of 0.80 x 2.00 m. For the children there are 2 camping beds with 0.70 x 2.00m mattresses. Pillows, duvets and all bed linen are available in a luxury package at € 3,00 per person only. The package also includes cleaning at the end of your stay.
All mattresses are fitted with mattress protectors (obligatory for hygiene).

No private transport and on foot? You can also take the train to Orvieto (the bus service to Civitella del Lago does not offer too many possibilities, just twice a day). This is especially a good choice if the only reasons you have flown in are to disconnect, have a rest, to read the books you have brought, become proficient at popping corks off bottles, to enjoy great food and to soak in the sun at the pool, it's quite possible.
Good to know, shops and restaurants you will find at walking distance from your Karsten tent and you can be entirely self-supporting. Just read the reviews. If you stay for a week or longer we can even arrange to pick you up at Montecchio.
No hassle, that's what we believe in at Camping Il Falcone: all you have to do put your bags away and have a drink to celebrate your arrival. At least, if your children/fellow-travellers are patient enough. They will probably have discovered the swimming-pool or are about to buy an ice cream at the campsite shop.
And no stress on the last day either: just pack your clothes, and say goodbye to everyone.
We do not have the policy to rent out only from Saturday to Saturday, which is common in this industry, so you can rent our tent for just a few days.
But: we have only got two of these unique rent-a-tents. Booking well in advance is most advisable. Decide what you would prefer and when, fill in the booking form, we'll try to match your needs the way you want it. Because that is our philosophy.
The down-payment (deposit) is 30 per cent of the total amount for the period you have booked. You can make the down payment by sending us a money transfer. Your bank enables you to make this transfer free of charges.
