Every day we realise that this holiday is probably your longest or possibly even the only one in the year. We think you have chosen Italy because of the climate, the food, the culture or the atmosphere. Or you have other motives. Anyway, when you have made your choice for a campsite, it has better prove to be just the right place to relax.
The high season runs from the 1st of July up to 31st of August. Our rates are slightly higher than in the low season, but if you consider that our campsite is a quiet one with swimmingpool at five quarters of an hour from Rome, € 47,20 (example) for two adults, two kids of 6 and 9, a large tent and a car, inclusive of hot water, hot showers without tokens, running water and electricity both being available at your pitch, we think we have kept your high season holiday in Italy affordable.
In this website, we mentioned that our motto is peace and quiet and that we offer no animation. So what's the campsite like in the summer weeks? We just repeat what we hear from our guests: although in July it starts to be busy and the last two weeks of July and the first ten days of August form the thick of the high season - by then we will be booked up -, even then the campsite is really quiet. In the afternoon your toddlers can take a nap or you can read your book in the shade in silence. And at half past nine or so the only sound you will hear besides the crickets is the popping of a cork. As in most cases it is a bottle from our shop, we even love the sound ☺.
One more thing: we have a gate that we close between 13.00 and 15.00 and after 23.00 hrs.
We walked around the campsite on 2nd of August when the campsite was booked up and took pictures. We put them in a slideshow of the high season. Decide for yourself how busy the campsite is.
To avoid disappointments: also in the season, we stick to our policy to stop accepting people when we are booked up. Therefore it is strongly advisable to make your reservation well ahead, say before May, if you plan to come in the last two weeks of July and the first week of August.
