Pictures of Camping Il Falcone in the low season

The months of April, May and June are fantastic to drive or bike or hike around Umbria. Although Umbria is not touristic at all, bar a few 'hotspots', you will find it is quiet everywhere. The landscape will be green and full of flowers. In the Umbrian slideshow you will come across a beautiful picture demonstrating that.

If summer has brought little rain, which usually is the case, the grass could be yellowish in autumn. But then it's the colour of the trees that really stands out.

• Civitella del Lago is waking up early in the morning. If you pitch up at the eastern side, this is your view. It also means you will be in the shade until late in the morning.
• This is what you can expect in spring and early summer up to the second week of July.
• Sleep until the birds will wake you.
• Could still be a bit fresh during the daytime in April.
• View from the stairs leading down from the reception area; you can see the sanitary building on the right.
• The campsite has a oneway circular path; this is the one going up back to the reception.
• Second week of June; the high season has started, but chances are there's only you and a couple of other guests.
• Peace and quiet.
• The olive trees form a nice settiing.
• When your tent is on one of the terraces, a tarp could come in handy when it's getting warmer.
• You will never have to wait at the toilets or showers.
• September is a lovely month to stay at a camping
• White or red wine?
• The foliage does enough to break the sun.
• Nice place to take the evening sun.
• Just arrived and pitching up: the straight to the swimming-pool.
• Staying outside all evening is wonderful.
