We realise that if you have a season job or you have schoolgoing kids, there is no choice for you but to go on a holiday in July and August. But suppose you could find the opportunity to find a week or more - you can fly to Rome or Perugia - in spring or autumn ...
The low season runs from 1st of April until 30th of June and 1st of September until the 30th of September. Umbria and the campsite really look fantastic in spring and autumn. The campsite is green and full of wild flowers in April, May and June, and it is extremely quiet. It could be there's you and three other campers. The swimming-pool opens on the 1st of May. It depends on the outside temperature and your stamina if a dip is something your body can handle. In autumn the swimming-pool usually is still warm enough. It could also be we have no more than twenty or twenty-five guests by that time. If you want to be sure, check our availability (pdf).
The climate is usually just perfect, between 20 and 25 degrees, although both in spring and autumn nights can be fresh due to the altitude of the campsite of 520 metres. The colours of the trees and shrubs are beautiful.
Quiet. Very quiet. And you have lots of space around you. Select a pitch at the top with the view or at the bottom with more shade. Whatever you like. We took pictures in the first week of May and the first week of September and put them into a separate slideshow for the low season.
Booking is preferred, especially at the very start or end of the season, but for the other weeks in the low season there is always enough space. Send in the form or phone us to let us know at what time you will be arriving so we can give you a proper welcome. But don't worry the place is full in the low season. It won't be.
In May we spent a very quiet week among the olive trees. The sanitary facilities were spotless ...
