We have put two very comfortable, fully equipped and spacious DeLuxe tents in our campsite located in two unique spots: the first one is up on the ridge, has afternoon and evening sun and views the campsite as if from an eagle's nest, offering a glimpse of Civitella del Lago in the distance. The second one is located in the lower part of the campsite, between the trees, has lots of shade, some evening sun and is not far away from the sanitary building.
To begin with: your luxury tent has a verdy sturdy construction. The first five or six foot are near vertical gaving the tent an enormous amount of useful space. The rent-a-tent is fully furbished and is suitable for 5 people. Whether you will arrive with 5 people or 2 (or just yourself ☺), the price stays the same. In the low season it is € N/A per day max 5 persons), inclusive of any other costs such as gas, electricity, hot & cold water et cetera. In the high season it is € N/A per day, same conditions.
By choosing a luxury tent, the inconveniences of pitching up your own tent after 2,000 kms of European motorways are a thing of the past: when you have arrived your private tent will be there, ready for use. You enter your spacious and comfortably equipped tent and all you have to do is decide who is going to sleep where, put your clothes into the cabinets and have a drink to celebrate your arrival. At least, if your children/fellow-travellers are patient enough. They will probably have discovered the swimming-pool or are about to buy an ice cream at the campsite shop.
No stress on the last day either: just pack your clothes, empty the waste bins and say goodbye to everyone. The cleaning is what we do (at very modest prices, see price-list) further down.
The more because we do not have the policy to rent out only from Saturday to Saturday, which is common in this industry,what this Luxury tent also makes feasible is to come to our campsite for just a few days or ten days: if you fly to Rome or Perugia or possibly Pisa, after having received the keys from your rental car at the airport, you can enter your tent one and a half hours later.
Alternatively, you can also take the train to Orvieto, but the bus service to Civitella del Lago does not offer too many possibilities (just twice day). Plus, if you want to see some of the surroundings, a rental car is useful. But ... if the only reasons you have flown in are to have a rest, to read the books you have brought, become proficient at popping corks off bottles, to enjoy great food and to soak in the sun at the pool, it's quite possible: you will find shops and restaurants at walking distance from your DeLuxe-tent and you can be entirely self-supporting. If you stay for a week or longer we'll even pick you up at Montecchio.
We have only got two of these unique tents. Booking well in advance is most advisable. Decide what you would prefer and when, check our availability, we'll try to match your needs the way you want it. Because that is our philosophy.
In a luxury tent you can sleep comfortably. There are 2 sleeping cabinets that can be closed with a zipper or strings. The sleeping area is thus separated from the living area. The 2 cabinets are also separated by a partition curtain that can be opened if desired so that a large sleeping area is created.
For the parents there are 2 real single boxspring beds of 0.80 x 2.00 m. For the children there is a bunk bed plus another wooden bed frame with a 0.70 x 2.00m mattress. Also for the children's beds we use pocket-spring mattresses of good quality. Pillows, duvets and all bed linen for 5 persons are standard in the DeLuxe tent.
All mattresses are fitted with mattress protectors (obligatory for hygiene).
The tent terrace is 4.40 meters wide and about 1.5 meters deep. The kitchen unit can be rolled outside for your convenience. The roof of the safari tent creates a beautiful spacious veranda to spend the summer evenings with:
You will also eat from earthenware plates and you can have your beer or wine from a real glass. After all, it's glamping!
The down-payment (deposit) is 30 per cent of the total amount for the period you have booked. You can make the down payment by sending us a money transfer. Your bank enables you to make this transfer free of charges.
