The name of campsite is derived from falconry. It was practised in medieval times at the castles in the surroundings.

In 1997 we turned an olive orchard into a campsite. Therefore all buildings are rather new. We find it important that a site's facilities come up to the expectations of our guests. That's why we check the water in the swimming-pool every day and we see to it that you will find soap, electric handdrier, toilet-paper and paper tissues in the spacious toilet-block. Warm showers are free.

In our small shop you will find everything for a simple meal, from pasta to wine. Orvieto Classico is one of the lovely local wines that we sell. Try our own olive-oil which we sell out every year, or a bottle of white wine of our neighbour's produce. Excellent quality you would pay twice as much for in the supermarkets. You can take it chilled to your pitch. In the bar you're welcome for an espresso, an ice-cream or a drink. Especially in the evenings it is a beautiful place to be. Come and see the sun go down from the terrace.

We built the swimming-pool in 2004. Therefore some guides still do not mention we have one. Apart from table-tennis we do not offer any other facilities. Most of our guests tell us that this is all they need for a comfortable holiday.
